Ed Harris as Pinscher is amazing.

I like the idea of Josh Holloway. Give him a decent haircut and he fits the part, or at least in my mind he does. Very underrated that guy. Has a good emotional range.

You'd have to get a guy as physically imposing as he is for Collie and I'm drawing blank for that.

Grey as a killer was a little weird, but I liked the Gilmore consideration too. Guy looked pathologic throughout the whole book. Had him pegged for the killer early buuuuuuuuuuuuuut no.

Where I thought it was darn good, it highlighted some qualities within the Rand family without having to Mary Sue the shit out of the characters. Loyalty being one.

I vote for Dead Harvest as I have a copy and I could tag along.

I'm reading Winter's Bone right now. I watched the movie about two or three months ago because I wanted to plow through the Oscar nominees for my web site and I fell in love with the story. Teardrop Dolly is one of those one-in-a-million character. You don't find guys like him often. Bought the book because I though I could learn a thing or two about bleak and hopeless atmospheres.

I just bought it today. The new Megan Abbott is burning my hands also. And it's not even out yet.
