I like the idea of Josh Holloway. Give him a decent haircut and he fits the part, or at least in my mind he does. Very underrated that guy. Has a good emotional range. You'd have to get a guy as physically imposing as he is for Collie and I'm drawing blank for that.
Grey as a killer was a little weird, but I liked the Gilmore consideration too. Guy looked pathologic throughout the whole book. Had him pegged for the killer early buuuuuuuuuuuuuut no.
Where I thought it was darn good, it highlighted some qualities within the Rand family without having to Mary Sue the shit out of the characters. Loyalty being one.
I'm reading Winter's Bone right now. I watched the movie about two or three months ago because I wanted to plow through the Oscar nominees for my web site and I fell in love with the story. Teardrop Dolly is one of those one-in-a-million character. You don't find guys like him often. Bought the book because I though I could learn a thing or two about bleak and hopeless atmospheres.
