Cats are clean and bathe themselves while dogs smell like an open septic tank.

Cats are smart enough not to eat vomit and fecal matter....dogs eat it like its going out of style

Cats make you work for their affection so when they do trust you, it feels more special and meaningful. Dogs trust everyone and are the biggest attention whores.

Purring and meowing sound lovely. Loud obnoxious yapping and barking....not so much

The simple reason....my cat loves me and I love him :)
