quick answer- early am-

you can cary around a ton of luggage with you. the luggage isn't good or bad.. but it certainly isn't helping you any. it weighs you down from where you might like to be going, takes up space that may be used by something more beneficial. and. sometimes you may not even know how much luggage you are carrying, or if what is in the luggage, is even yours...

and yes- some people absolutely "enjoy" their layers of hucha.. wallow in their misery, get some form of validation from being a victim, etc... but that would not be categorised as being on a "soul path"...

I have been doing a lot of reading about book promotion.. and some of the things mentioned are very valid, and we might be able to collaborate and team up, much the way the CS tagging community works together to support each other.

tweeting for each other
FB posts for each other?
review exchange
interview exchange
multi-author blog so no one person loaded with all the admin/upkeep


also- I want to create a sale offering for my book. has anyone done this and how does it work, esp re amazon? can you offer promotional codes or some other way to create a sale price?

okay- post holiday and post convalescence:)

I'm up to swap reviews if you guys are game:) I would imagine a whole read is not essential in order to be able to write up something. I am not saying to not-read... or fake a review.. just that no one should feel absolutely obligated to do full and total reads of all books.

working on untangling amazon book pages. ugh!

working on "soldier to warrior" a guide for soldiers, combat stress and other trauma/post trauma situations, including stress reduction, affect of diet and nutrition, and the mental paradigm differences between hierarchical and lateral relationships military v civilian:)

also working on ( back burner).. kinesthetic meditation DVD, and YA book growing integrity.

also trying to finish laundry:)

I was thinking about doing reviews, and i know tha there are authors who are offering reciprocal reviews. I know I personally prefer to read hard copy. this led me to the idea that it might be a good idea for the review pool of authors to keep a review copy of a book that can be sent out into the "review pool".



when you get a review copy, you can read throgh it, write your review- then the review copy can either be sent back to the author, or it can be forwarded on to the next reviewer. this way authors aren't going through a lot of books and getting god solid reads and reviews for the mileage.
