If only Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet had been one of those "I just can't put it down" books. I think I was just expecting too much. I wanted a book that was going to make me cry and it didn't. I only really cared for one chaacter (Sheldon) and that also made the book less enjoyable.81. Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
I have reached my goal for the year.
The book was pretty good (I gave it 3 stars) but it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I wanted it to be a book I couldn't put down, but it wasn't. When I wasn't reading it, I wasn't thinking about it, which was disappointing.
