I started reading this on my Kindle yesterday, I'm about 20% done.I really like the book, and like the ideas Gretchin presents for getting more happiness out of her life.
What do you think of it so far?
Do you think you're going to apply anything from this book to your life?
I think we'll start off with The Happiness Project, and follow it with The Unincorporated Man, does this sound good to everybody? Please feel free to add books to the shelves in this group. I think we should keep it mixed up and read both fiction and non-fiction. I'm not sure if we're big enough to have two books going in parallel for those who don't want to read non-fiction, but I definitely wouldn't oppose that.
Would setting the 'due' date to the end of the month be too long? I think we should start a forum topic for each book and write our feedback or post links to our reviews. If you don't want to provide feedback, or a review on a book thats fine but I think it would be great to discuss the books as/after we read them.
We haven't picked a book. But I am interested in all the books posted here so far. I'd like us to pick something before the end of the week, and would love to see more people interested in this book club.
I personally read a bunch of Sci-Fi, LGBT, Technology, Graphic Novels, and Craft related books. I'd like for us to be able to read whatever book and discuss it. We can discuss on here, or in person if you'd like. Having this be 'virtual' might make it easier for everybody but I'm definitely open to having actual meetings take place.
