41817 I think over time the writing and reader’s relating to the characters will make A Gentleman in Moscow a modern. Classic

41817 Hello Everyone!

I have been trying to read more classics so I am hoping this group will broaden my horizons.

I am from the U.S. and my focus this year is to find new to me classics from around the world. I just finished The Time Regulation Institute by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar.

I will participate in monthly reads and look forward to lively discussions. If anyone has suggestions for works from countries that are not on the literary lists of most westerners I would be thrilled to try them.
