Oh, and how do you like stats to be rolled? Also is there a place to roll them or do you take my word if I roll them on my own?

Hmm, what level would I start at? Do you use the Unearthed Arcana? I am actually leaning toward the paladin (assuming I can get the right stats) and wonder if that would be too disruptive or just plain fun.

Hopefully within a couple of weeks I would be able to join in a game. We are supposed to get internet on Friday and my parents are getting here on Friday or Saturday for a visit. Is there a game I would be able to join in a couple of weeks and if so what does the party need? I know some DMs dont like to answer that question but I can play just about anything and would like to play something the party needs.

Howdy yall. New to GoodReads but not to DnD. I have been playing for about 30 years. I will have to see how much time I have to actually join a game but thought it would be neat to chat about it.
