Eva, I loved it and i HATE sci-fi...so good, such an amazing story and every kid I've ever known who's read it, plus quite a few grown ups, have loved it and list it as a favorite. I think it's a great idea, though I think Read In should still just be a 7th & 8th event, or let this be a 6th & 7th event and do a different book all together for 8th or let them take part in UD Book Day...

Yep, it was through YALSA but we did a whole series of things at the library. I didn't go but the girls did. We'll need a full report from Abbie and co.

oh, yes, I did...I keep calling it that for some reason as they used to have one when I was at NYPL.

I just finished keeping you a secret and it was good and a quick read. I'm bringing it back after vacation. I also liked Gravity, not YA I don't think but short and fast and good. Ximena will love both of these :-)

I'm kinding of feeling a movie trip coming up!!! Folks feel like meeting over break to see the new version of "Jane Eyre"? And what is it about this story that keeps compelling movie-makers to keep trying to capture the story on film? I would say a marathon viewing of all the versions we have in the library might be in order :-)

I have GOT to remember to start doing this!!! I can't wait to open a cover of a book and find out that someone else has read it and liked it :-)
