I read this and had to do dance for joy. For those of you not familiar with Sailor Moon, this manga acted as a gateway for many in the late 90s to Japanese comics and is considered to be partly responsible for the manga craze seen soon after. It practically started its own genre of manga with magic girl transformations. It also was huge in Japan. They made an anime, several movies, a live action series, and a stage show. So this is big. Even though the manga hasn't been around for a while the teens in the library manga club I run still know about Sailor Moon and think the anime is cool. The anime hasn't been on TV since the early 2000s. The manga has been out-of-print for several years in the US and the binding on the original prints was poor and the comics fell apart quickly. Very few libraries have copies of this series. I'm hoping the reprints are higher quality because I definitely want to see this in my local libraries.

If it's ok with everyone I am going to post here what the graphic novel book club is reading, when meeting dates are, what we talked about, and what books get recommended. Any one mind me doing that?
