Correct me if I'm wrong, but giveaways for ebooks has not yet been possible. It was, however, to come out soon. In this case, where is the expense to Goodreads for doing this? And since Goodreads is owned by Amazon, it only helps the parent company sell book. I agree, it doesn't make sense.
