45059 I've only read the first chapter. Did I misread it, or did the big baddie sacrifice twin children just for the purpose of reading the future? Yuck.
45059 How about Nightside the Long Sun by Gene Wolfe? I don't see any Gene Wolfe on your bookshelf, which is a pity.

45059 The moon king looks interesting. Anybody read any of these yet?
45059 I don't know why I'm in the minority, but I'm really looking forward to the next in John C. Wright's "Count to the Eschaton" series, The Architect of Aeons. Hermetic Millennia was disappointing, but the Judge of Ages was crazy, but so good!

45059 wonderful! This gives me just enough time to read it before the full season gets made.

45059 Hi all! I've been on Goodreads for a while, but only now am I starting to get how it all works :) I love classic heroic fantasy, especially the Lord of the Rings and C.S. Lewis's Cosmic Trilogy. In scifi, I'm only starting to get back into it after being a huge fan of the classics in my childhood: Asimov, Clarke, Bradbury, etc. Recently I've been getting into a lot of Gene Wolfe and John C. Wright. Always looking for that voice that you immediately know will be remembered for centuries to come.
