Not a conventional vampire, werewolf, or zombie story, but the characters are there. Enter to win a paperback. Available October 13, 2012. Ebook can be found across all channels now. Good luck to all who enter.

Not trying to toot my own horn, but it's a little more paranormal and less horror I think. If it's what you're looking for.

B&N, Smashwords, Sony, and iTunes all have Endlessly as a free download, but still Kindle refuses to budge. I guess this is more of a cry for help than it is a promotion.
This is the link for the UK free download:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Endlessly-ebo... When you visit the US site: http://www.amazon.com/Endlessly-ebook... under the section titled "Product Details" there is a link called "tell us about a lower price". I have been visiting this area, and giving them the link (from their own network) twice a day.
I'm not asking you to visit it twice a day like myself, but if you yell at them once I would greatly appreciate it.
This is FREE, don't pay for it. If you would like a copy, and cannot locate it for free, please contact me.

Spencer Mason has discovered a secret spell that will raise the dead, and as a funeral home director, there is no short supply of bodies. As Spencer builds a legion of undead soldiers, he plans to get revenge for the torment he endured during his childhood years - until Raven Anderson moves into town.
Blind since birth, Raven struggles to adapt with her new surroundings after the death of her mother. She finds a sympathetic shoulder to lean on when she meets Spencer, and the two find out that they have a lot in common.
Raven senses that Spencer is troubled by something that he isn’t sharing, but the thing that tortures Spencer the most is something Raven cannot see.

I received a review stating that my characters were cruel, and that Jason's (werewolf) eating habits were disgusting. ???
It's okay for Verloren (vampire) to drink all of the blood from a human, forcing him to kill them, since only human blood will sustain him,(No animal blood crap) but Jason consuming all of the remains is disgusting?
I don't quite see the difference there. If anything, wouldn't the vampire's diet be more disgusting, after all, he did kill the human without remorse.
I love how people dislike my book because the monsters are just that - monsters. My monsters have a total lack of respect for human life. Or better yet, because my story has more than just vampires in it, they refuse to finish reading it. The apex predictor is now the teddy bear. *palmface*
It makes it hard for me to write horror, with drops of sentiments in it, when people have taken on a different perspective of what a monster is.
In another words - How can you get mad at me for writing about vampires that kill humans? THEY ARE VAMPIRES! It's what they do. They kill. They are walking, talking, sociopaths. Nothing more, nothing less.

In the hopes to encourage people to read my story, I am dropping the price of Endlessly to $.00. Yes, you read that right, you can now obtain Endlessly as a FREE Ebook by visiting http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/... to download the format that you need for your Ereader.
Don't have an Ereader, that's okay. Smashwords also offers you the option to read the book right from their website, or download a PDF file. However you want to view it, all my blood, sweat and tears are now FREE for your viewing pleasure.
Why am I doing this? - Because I want you to meet Verloren Fagan. I want you to enter his world - risk free. I'm hoping that you like it there, and continue to read my books. If you don't like it, it hasn't cost you anything, and you are free to leave unscathed. No one will ever know that a human has found them out.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I think what it boils down to is personality. The vampire is the super human: strong, intelligent, ect. Almost over-human, if that makes any sense.
The werewolf falls back on instinct. Animistic, savage, untamed, and reactive. They act more on impulse.
If there was a scale that incorporated the human personality, and human was the buffer, it seems that the vampire would be on one end, and the werewolf on the other.
The counterparts seem to be polar opposites of each other, but in most stories they can't seem to find the common ground of being unhuman.

I hope you don't mind, but I added your book to the group.

Writing the hero is such an easy story. The majority of human kind will fall into this category. Loyal, honest, and dedicated. They are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.
But my interest always lays with the villain. Somewhere along the line that villain went wrong. He or she usually starts out like everyone else, but something happened to turn them cruel.
I guess my thoughts get tangled up and I start thinking about the underdog, and how I always root for them. I think that is why I am always more interested in the villains story the most.
The vampire, the werewolf, and in some cases, the thinking zombie. When did it happen? When did they decide that being a monster was acceptable?
What would you do if transformed into a monster? Do you think that you could live with yourself? Or would you be more like the hero, more concerned for the safety of humanity?

Our group is small, but I am hoping that it continues to grow. We are all about monsters here, and the people that love them, write them, and read about them. I will add your book to the bookshelf of this group.

So, I had to look. Yes, you can find information on them, and how they are to blame for infidelity, but nothing on how to fight them off since they are considered a mythical creature.
There is plenty of info on other notorious creatures. Does anyone have anything about incubus and succubus, other than old folklore legends?

When I starting writing the Endlessly trilogy, my biggest fear was being inconstant, so I waited util all three were written before I published the first one. I didn't want the reader to bump into something and say, "Oh, no. You can't add that now, it wasn't there before."
It was challenging due to Ashley's character just being born, and she was learning. I didn't want to cram everything that she was capable of into the first book (I thought it would boring and pointless to the story line), and I didn't want the reader to call shenanigans later. There are things revealed to the reader over the course of the books because they are discovered over time. Like a painter not knowing that they could sculpt, until they placed their hands in the clay.
With Ash's character, she was a hybrid, so the rules were up in the air. But with Verloren, he was a vampire, and he did what vampires do: kill and drink blood. He capable of a few extra things, but his rules are set in stone.

I'm talking about voodoo. Would you want to read a book with the original zombies in it?
