Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your sister, Sandra. I truly feel for you and I hope only the best for you all.

"Thanks.
I'm just finishing up this in audio and must've missed his appearance here. I'll have to check out the ebook.
I'm nearly done with Wonderment In Death. Can't believe I've reached the last couple of books; it feels like only yesterday I started this series. How ecstatic I was that I had over 30 books to enjoy!
And now.... I'm torn between dragging it out and wanting to gobble up these last ones.
My days will be "lesser" without them. I listen to the audio versions and have NO idea where to start with other authors and narrators as good as Robb and Eriksen.
I'll have to wade through all the suggestions and referrals.
Started the audio of Indulgence in Death. Loved the hilarious start and also how far Eve and Roarke have come in the series.
I now see where one of the many well known mixed metaphors of Eve's comes up: (view spoiler)
Adorable..
I'm nearly done with Promises in Death and am thoroughly enjoying (view spoiler)! LOL. Eve's so totally out of her element here. On the otherhand I'm so sad about the homicide case in this book. so unexpected.

I'm nearly done with Strangers in Death and just when I think the previous book can't be bettered, I find myself enjoying the next one just as much, if not more. I had this "ahah" moment when the relevance of the title was revealed to me - I love how J. D. Robb's mind works. Can't believe this series is going into its 3rd decade now. I'm overwhelmed just thinking about it
Not sure this has been mentioned yet:Amazon has a 2 books for 1 credit sale until 7 April 2016:

I got:
Festive in Death and
Obsession in Death
and I see Thankless in Death there too.
Happy belated birthday, Sandra! I hope you had a really special day and that you have many many more :)
I'm thoroughly enjoying Eternity in Death! Might be my fav so far.I love this territorial Roarke and the plot is intriguing even though I'm not into vampires and the like. (Unless its the BDB and their sh1tkickers)
*****SPOILERS*****In my initial post above, I was asking for spoilers on the other characters, because I had skimmed over that and the homicide case portions when I first got the eBook. I wondered if anything major occurred with them that would be carried over into the next books. (I've since been sorted out on that front.)
Jonetta-
I’m reluctant to read the M scenes because I’d be re-reading them.
Like I said above, I already know everything there is to know about her and don't want to now have to hear her in the audio version as well.
I’d read every single scene in which she features and all the ones where she’s referred to: spoken about, thought about, by every character in this book. I already know how (view spoiler) every scene is boldly imprinted on my mind. (Even now, months later)
Sandra-
Sharon-
Chill-
Quynh-
I’m content with where their relationship (and their own personal growth) is at the end of the book because (view spoiler)
Kirsten *Dogs Welcome - People Tolerated-
I have no issue with Marlena.
Already finished Vengeance (book 6).
I’m referring to Magdalena in Innocent (book 24).

Thanks!
Innocent in Death - ******SPOILER QUESTION*******If I skip this book do I miss out on any major stuff?
I really, REALLY don't want to listen to it (I'm doing this series in audio) cos of the Magdalena issue. I don't want to skim either.
I already know, from skimming through it before:
- that Eve and Summerset share an important moment
- that the mystery/thriller plot is good
- that Eve and Roarke have it really hard.
- that I will be missing out on some great narration here.
Anything else I need to know before I move on - pls spoil for me - only the stuff not pertaining to Magdalena? I know everything there is to know about her already.
ETA - I also already know the problems Eve and Roarke have to deal with so I really only want to know about the other characters, I suppose
I just finished Born In Death and have a quick SPOILERY question about the next one Innocent in Death. I see there is an old spoiler thread for this book - should I ask there rather than here?
Does he EVER let up, though? He's so nasty to her in Born In Death. On the otherhand, I suppose even if he does let up she'll probably be quite bewildered and wouldn't know how to handle him then LOL. Just this stick up his ass is bothering me more than usual in this book
Oh wow. What a great concept. Not something I ever could have thought up. The fact that it's a JD Robb one makes it even more appealing to me
Started listening to
and already enjoying the start with Eve and Roarke's disgust of all things babies and birthing....hilarious.....I DO hope that the homicide plot has no convenient link to any of the characters to do with the birthing classes they're attending.
I've been listening to
and goodness, life with Eve is such a see-saw roller coaster of a ride. It was 2 books ago, iirc, that I was so furious with her at one part of that book and then along comes this book and I'm practically in tears all the time. Robb and Eriksen make a brilliant teamAnd aww, Eve's connection with Dennis Mira....
