My YA novel, All's Fair in Love and Words, is currently free at Amazon! Hurry while it lasts! :)http://www.amazon.com/Alls-Fair-Love-...
Is there a place at Smashwords that shows sales rankings? If so, where? I know amazon and B&N have sales rankings, but I haven't seen them at Smashwords. Thanks!
I think it's interesting the way some readers have the negative attitude toward indie authors, and yet they also don't want to pay more than $2.99 for an ebook and complain when a bestseller from a major traditional publisher costs $9-14. They've been spoiled by indie prices, and yet...
I've wondered why it's considered "wrong" by some to self promote. Isn't that what many people in other "businesses" do? How else do you let the world know that you (and your books) are out there?
My YA novel, The Farewell Season, is now on sale at Smashwords for 99 cents. Such a deal! You can check it out at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...
As other said, ask to see a contract, and also contact authors with this publisher and see what they have to say. Small epubs can be good or can be disastrous. I'm currently with one very good epub, one that appears to still be learning the ropes, and one from whom I'm going to pull my books because the new owners (new two years ago) have dragged a once-good epub down the drain.
Hi,Patricia! Thanks for the welcome. :) I've been traditionally published in paperback, and ebook & POD by small-epublishers (not quite computer savvy to epub myself--though maybe one of these days!)
Hi, I'm a Goodreads author, I have several YAs published, and probably not as active on Goodreads as I should be. I found out about ROBUST from Andre's post on the kindle boards.
