Okay look. In my childhood I read this book that gave me severe nightmares. It was a weird rip off of goosebumps and was about a run of the mill haunted/evil toy store. I can't remember the name of the author, book, or even the publishing date but OH BOY do I remember a specific part in which the kids find the store owner in the basement wrapped in silver duck tape. But they describe him as a "silver alien" which was really weird but then the next chapter starts and they are like "Oh it's just Mr._____ wrapped in SILVER DUCK TAPE"
So yeah, it was a big deal to me as a kid because I knew to stop my nightmares I had to finish it, but it scared me sooo?
The only way I could recognize it would be the cover!
