i joined a group...i figure its best to stick to one topic or we'll all be lost. Maybe I'll start another group about hist romance...who knows!

Just out of curiosity, how many of us in this group are also historical romance novel readers? I know for certain there is a handful of us, but I'm wondering if there are enough of us to start posts about them in this group - or if I should look for separate group for hist romance!

I actually really liked book 4! Sure, there wasn't as much action as I wanted, but I wasn't disappointed! For a filler book, which it clearly was, it was really good! Unlike book 7 of Sookie, which was really disappointing! And OMG, I really love Adam! He is moving up my list! :)

So, I finished book 4!! So good!! I really do love Karen Chance! and Pritkin! Yay!

I thought it was really good. BUT - I did read it a LONG time ago and have read TONS of good books since then, so going back I'm not sure if I would still love it knowing what else is out there. That being said, its worth reading. Its a cool story/idea. I couldn't put it down when I read it. Don't give up during the first few chapters. It's confusing and somewhat hard to follow at first, but then it gets so much easier.

It came out about a week or two ago...beginning of April ish! I saw it at Borders on Tuesday and I almost screamed I was so excited! haha...yeah, its pretty sad. Midnight's Daughter was not as good as Cassie's series. I really had to force myself through it.

So, I wanted to add to a thread on this series I thought we already had, but then I realized we don't have one yet! How did we all miss this series?? I know we've talked about it in other topics, but i am so sad that it doesnt have it's own topic! I LOVE this series and am currently reading book 4 Curse the Dawn and am really liking it! As I've gone thru more authors and then gone back to previous ones for their new releases, I've been mostly disappointed, but Cassie is still going strong in Chance's last book! I've got about 100 pages left and I wish I didnt have anything else to do so I could finish it today! Anyway, this series is MUCH better than Midnight's daughter. I love cassie - and Pritkin! And yeah...Mircea is HOT :)

Has anybody read the Mercy book yet?? Its in hardback, and I just dont know if I wanna spend 25 bucks on it! If you've read it, let me know how it is! :)

Yeah, true...i guess I hadn´t really thought about it. I guess death just seemed inevitable to me! I much prefer the idea that Jenks doesn´t die...so fingers crossed for a spell!

haha! I should start a new post about the wedding! Well, I'm getting married in England. Been here for the past few weeks. The ceremony is Saturday at 10 am. My colors are champagne and red. The cake is square and apparently wedding cakes in England are fruit cakes. Yuck, so not my pick, but my fiance loves them so he wins this one. The reception back in the states is MY cake...almond flavored(sooooo good!!!) with buttercream icing not that yucky fondant stuff. blech. Red roses for my bouquet and ivory ones for the bridesmaids. Pretty! Umm..yeah. Sooo I'm getting excited!!

Right...new names...focus!! haha

Very nice argument Barbara! lol. I am pretty ready..i think! As long as everybody makes it to the church and Michael manages to say 'I do' we should be good! I am excited now tho to see things coming together! Makes it seem like its really happening!

Anyway, everyone feel free to take barbara's lead and tell us why we should vote for your group name idea!

Ahh!! Yay!! I'm so glad this post is finally seeing some action and excitement! I really loved these books! It took me a while to want to read the Outlaw Demon after what happened with Kisten...sooo not ok with me!! BUT, that being said, I'm glad I did and I'm excited to see what happens next! I have to say I think that the Rachel/Ivy saga isn't over yet. I totally agree with the witch/elf/demon question. They do seem so similar. I definitely think Rachel will remember Kisten's death...I'm hoping for a crazy twist in the story line. :)

Kelley - are you thinking rachel is gonna figure out a way to keep jenks alive?

The release date for Dreamfever is listed as August 25th..hopefully it will stick to that date!

My first suggestion is Sanctuary - the safe haven/hang out in the Sherrilyn Kenyon novels!

Hey guys!! I'm thinking about changing the name of the group. My thinking is that most people think this group is about the Twilight series since the name of the group is New Moon. When I made the group tho, I really didn't even realize the connection - albeit a really obvious one! SO...since this group focuses around sci-fi/fantasy/horror/paranormal romance/and whatever else anybody wants to talk about...I want to re-name it! Give me your suggestions and then I'll put up a poll and see what we end up with!!

Kim Harrison is great! The first book is a little hard to get through, but after that you'll love them!

Barbara, I just put those books on my to-read list like two seconds before you posted that! :)
