48160 Hi guys,

I'm running a giveaway on Goodreads for Murder in-absentia! Enter for a chance to win a free signed and dedicated copy of the most exciting fantasy murder mystery (with an historical bent and a dash of horror) released this year! Voted as the best book of 2015 by the author and his cat!
Winners will be announced on Jan 1st - a perfect start to the new year :)

Follow this link to the giveaway details: https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/show/165815-murder-in-absentia-felix-the-fox-1.

For those who can't wait but can afford a cup of coffee, I'm also running an Amazon Countdown Deal over the next few days. I'm using this to test Amazon advertising, but if you go directly to Amazon you can get the book, start reading now, and support my caffeine addiction - all for less than a dollar! Imagine the warm and fuzzies! My cat will adore you when I tell him you paid for his kitty treats!
(Unfortunately Amazon makes it available only to US and UK customers. However, you could still buy it and make my cat purr for you! Or enter and win the giveaway for a signed and dedicated paper copy - double the joy! :)

All the best!
Assaph
48160 Thanks!
I checked out Bookbub - looks promising. I'll keep it in my notes for marketing.

48160 Thanks for sharing, Wayne.

I've heard other authors comment about the Power of Free as well. It's something I plan soon for my (self-published) book as well. Just need to build up a following that will take it up :)

Can you shed more light about what else has the publisher done to, erm, promote this promotion? How did they get the word out about the price drop to potential readers?

(I heard about it from you last week here on GoodReads - I wonder what other avenues were used to attract attention).
