Shanon’s comments from the Q&A with Shanon Mayer, author of Sphere of Power group.

I have always been interested in mythology, of all varieties. I can't look through a book of myths or mythical creatures without seeing how I could adapt some of it to fit into my world.
When I first started writing Sphere of Power, I didnt really have much of a goal, but as the story grew, so did the plot, which means I had to go back a few times to make what I had already done fit into what I was doing now!

I have been influenced by a large variety of authors, from Dean Koontz to Terry Pratchett to Nora Roberts and James Patterson. Each of these has a distinctive writing style, and I would like to think that, one day, someone would be able to list me as one of their influences.
Do you have a favorite author that you find interesting or unique? If so, we'd love to hear about it!
