oooh....edit that ^^^ all the barnes & nobles around me are out of stock...yeah. i guess it's a REALLY popular book
to be completely honest, i haven't even gotten my hands on a copy of the book yet. There's only 2 barnes & noble within a 30 mile radius of my house, but I don't think my parents will let me go to New York just for a book. I think my best bet is online but it's probably nt going to get here til maybe thursday or friday...errr..i guess i better read it fast when it gets here huh? :D
so does that mean we're starting you killed wesley payne next month or we're going to do it for the end of this month?
here's some books I'm looking at:Drought
You Killed Wesley Payne
The Sky Is Everywhere
Awaken
I think Megan's got the rest covered :)
I feel the same way. It's really easy to get lost in the inspiration other people's lives give you. Like when I was struggling, I talked with a friend of mine who experrienced what I was going through and she told me about a friend of hers who committed suicide. And I found it easy to write in that perspective. And sometimes in my sister's perspective when she was battling anorexia...but i think i got some really good works out of it...and since then I find it easier to write more tragic works...my sister says i have a very twisted mind for a person so happy :D
i think Alexander Ludwig would've been a been a better Peeta, but they cast him as Cato...and yeah Jennifer Lawrence didnt seem right but I changed my mind after I saw the Katniss pictures she took. She pulls it off well.
yeah i guess so...it was also a means of venting. I was going through some rough times then so I turned to writing for help. And help it did :)
haha yeah...back in march i vowed to write every day so i started writing a poem every night since. today was 126 i believe...but like 50 of them were haikus so i dont really think those should count
wow...this is awesome! I love how Mac was able to laugh even in the face of death...i think it shows how Mac's stronger than just the nerdy persona he lives by every day. idk...my one issue was the dialogue. I found it a little hard sometimes to tell who was talking since it was going back and forth in the same paragraph. Then again, though, that may have had something to do with the format of comments, i'm assuming.
Other than that, it's AMAZING! loved it!
well, i have about 120 poems on that site so i probably can't post them all in this thread and by posting them on GR do you mean like in my writing section?...and thanks, Ally! it means a lot to me. I actually haven't really shown my poetry to many people :)
Hey! I'm Meaghan. I really love reading and writing; I guess you could say I'm addicted :) I also love singing and watching movies, even though the two are unrelated.
