51477 I just finally picked up JLA’s Origin series last month, it was so wonderful being back with Daemon, Dawson, and Kat! The series isn’t as amazing as Lux, but it’s still another great read. Just hoping Jennifer hasn’t given up on it, she seems to have stopped at Brightest Night😩

I miss the challenges too, the Dystopian one was what made me love that genre so much!

51477 I joined a local book club and they rarely read anything with any romance, so it's gotten me outside my usual genres. I love the thrillers and mysteries too, but I always fall back on YA and PNR for an escape read =)

OMG there's more books?!! I was just debating re-reading this series and had no clue Mafi had continued past book 3! The Shatter Me series was my fave dystopian, I'm scared they won't live up to it since I kinda thought that was the HEA. lol

Oh yay!! The Covenant series is one of my all-time absolute faves, along with pretty much anything JLA writes. lol Highly recommend her Lux series if you haven't read that yet too. I only read the first of the VA books years ago and I wasn't taken by the characters back then, but I'm loving YA books again right now so I may pick it back up and see if I can get into it. Hope you love the Covenant series!!

Hi Laura! I can't speak for all of the moderators, but I know for me I fell out of reading and stepped away so I have been MIA from Goodreads for quite awhile. I checked back on here this morning because I have the reading bug again and wanted to see what everyone else was enjoying, it was sad to see that this usually very active thread has gone silent. I've started a new 2020 thread, not sure if anyone will join in on there but hopefully we can get more discussions going. I know I need some more updated suggestions for sure!! =)

51477 It’s been quite some time since I’ve been active on here! Unfortunately life has gotten in the way of my efforts in doing my part to keep our amazing group active, but I thought we should at least have an updated book discussion thread! So, what is everyone reading?! I’d love some great YA suggestions. I finally picked up Jessica Shirvington’s Embrace series after reading the first book years ago!

51477 Looks like I might have slipped up when I was typing up Sylvia's list everyone, she wanted Vampire Academy and I added Bloodlines. Probably came up when I typed in Mead's name and I just didn't notice, that's what I get for doing it past my bedtime! lol Anyway, Sylvia's list now has BOTH the Vampire Academy Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead and Bloodlines Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead series, so feel free to pick either! Sorry for the mix-up!
