521267 Both of these texts revolve around a youth and young-adult character that struggle to fit in and are cast as outsiders. However, when tragedy occurs they are thrust out of their safe space and into an entirely new environment where they must now figure out how to move past their uniqueness to feel "at home" once again. I have only selected two books for this month as it is officially SUMMER and I am sure a good majority of us are enjoying some more outdoor activities! However, if we all seem to be caught up with the readings and moving forward at a rapid pace I can definitely add another to this awesome pairing of novels!

The first book is, "Counting by 7's" by Holly Goldberg Sloan
The second book is, "Ghost Boy" by Iain Lawrence

Please no spoilers until after June 23rd!

521267 This month's theme revolves around trains and murder! Although it seems a little more obvious at first glance, there are definitely some underlying connections between the two novels than meets the eye. I have only selected two books for this month as we are nearing the warmer weather and I am sure quite a bit of us are trying to head outside to enjoy some fresh air and activities!

The first book on the list is, "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie
The second book on the list is, "Strangers on a Train" by Patricia Highsmith
