For me, writing is an extension of my everyday imagination. (I know that sounds weird, but I have one of those brains that never turns off, is never quiet so writing helps me to quiet my overactive mind) I carry paper with me everywhere, I write on lunch breaks at work and do something that involves writing everyday. I like to read a great horror novel or a great mystery. I am also drawn to epic adventures like Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Riddick....

Welcome. I am an author with Off the Bookshelf and have found several authors there that I now not only follow but also read on a regular basis. I have found that many of the books I am drawn to now are not by the likes of the great known authors but the great unknown whose perspectives are fresh and exciting.
