I love it, it really brings the book to novel to life and I especially like the background music!

I am afraid that if I read the books it will ruin the series because I know they will be different.

I don't think you'd be missing too much by not reading the SC books - they're completely different from the show (including some character personalities) and I was sorta disappointed by them with all the hype.

I read the first three just before the start of the TV series and I didn't really enjoy them, partly because of Smith's writing style. I'm curious to see how a book with the same plot but a different writer will work out for me! I hope I enjoy it more than I did the others!

Looks like we're reading Delirium together then! :)

Funny thing is, I'm creating this discussion post while watching an episode of Secret Circle! It's the Valentine's Day one. I haven't watched any of the episodes this month so I'm playing catch-up.
Anyway, we're supposed to be talking about the book not the show (though I suspect there'll be a lot of that discussed too. Who can resist?)

First thing I thought of when I read the blurb was that it sounds a lot like The Goddess Test, except instead of loving the god of the Underworld, the protag wants to be with the guy who stays outside, in the real world.

Gorgeous cover, that's all I gotta say. Have you already read this? Will you be reading it with us this month?

I'm getting my copy of Delirium from the library tomorrow, but I won't be starting until Wednesday. I'm taking the ACT on Tuesday and I'm so nervous!

Wow! Showin' Lauren Oliver some love, huh? Grab a copy of Pandemonium (or Delirium, if you're me) and get seated for a Apriltastic discussion! (Did I really just say that?)

did you have a specific book in mind Gisbelle? You could also read with a group of us, just vote on your choice for the April read ;-)

Hurray! I'm so glad Danielle, those can be a real pain. Hope my email helped you out a tiny little bit.
Lol "slower than molasses" was my favorite math teacher's most common phrase. Love it!

Actually, it is a specific topic for giveaways and people who are looking for giveaways go straight there instead of looking all over in the general folder, etc. Sorry if that's not your style. It makes it easier for the readers to see all the giveaways at once instead of opening a billion discussions each with one giveaway link. :)

Tammy, this month many people said they didn't have time to read extra, so we're reading Mockingjay and catching up with our reads :)

Eep! How intriguing! This is going to be a great book I can just feel it! Is it on Goodreads yet?

Oh man great suggestions all of them!

Is it really? Wow going to go check it out now! Thanks Heidi!
