I always thought Channing Tatum would be a good Seth but he's getting too old now.
Lol thanks! I quite like it as well.I totally agree with the no F-bomb thing. I absolutely hate that word!
That's awesome that she wants you to read the first draft. It really sounds like she wants to give the book justice with this movie.
Hahaha! That's so funny! I totally agree with that! And I agree with all the ones mentioned.
I want some of the really funny scenes between Maggie and Booker (and there are many of them). Like when he tries to give her a ride home but she refuses to get into the car so he threatens to arrest her. Or when she finds the hundred dollar bill on fluffy and tries to get Booker to give it back to Seth, but he totally plays dumb...
There's just so many of them. I wish we could just put the whole book in there, but sadly you can't. I'm just glad that she's asking you what you would like in it. So it seems like your going to have a lot more say in what goes on.
Okay so I thought of some of my favorite moments but I couldn't just choose one so I chose two."I can take care of myself, thank you very much." Cole pulled a tomato half out of the salad and stuffed it into his mouth.
"That's right. I heard you and Ron were good friends," Booker said innocently, the first clue a joke was coming. Booker was many things, but innocent wasn't one of them.
Cole studied him for a moment. "Okay, I know I'm going to hate myself for asking, but who is Ron?" Cole leaned against the counter and folded his arms across his chest, looking every bit the 6'3 3/4" that he was.
"You know, Ron, as in Ronald McDonald."
I groaned. That was bad.
"I can cook," Cole said indecisively.
"Doc, you're the only person I know that can burn water!"
"I have never burn--okay, once. Are you ever going to forgive me?"
"you ruined my favorite pan!" -Cole & Booker
And the other
"You like kissing her all bony like that, Seth?"
"I haven't kissed her yet, Miss Ethel." His red face now carried a grin from ear to ear.
Will the earth please open up and swollow me whole? Did he say yet?
"why not, boy?" She looked genuinely surprised. "Is you one of them gay fellers?" She didn't ask the question with any repugnance, merely curiosity.
"No, I'm not, Miss Ethel." The stupid grin never left his face. "I'm very much a heterosexual." Evidently she didn't know what the word meant because her brows knit in confusion. "I like girls," he said reassuringly." -Miss Ethel, Seth, & Maggie
I can see Lucy Hail as Maggie and Renee Zelwiger as the mom, but I can't see Lucas as Cole but what about Channing Tatum as Seth? I can see Jansen as Cole.

Me too! I was listening to it last night and I was like this would be perfect!
Mollie wrote: "Here is Maggie's theme song (Just happens to be another lifehouse song, but the lyrics are perfect). This song IS Maggie. If we're talking a specific scene then maybe when Maggie is running in the ..."That is perfect for Maggie. I can also see it playing while Maggie and Booker are comforting each other, when Seth is walking Cole to the door, and Booker tells her that they're going to make it through this.
Man I can't really say what my favorite scene is there are to many. But I do love all the scenes where Booker pops up out of no where and insists on giving her a ride. Lol you gotta love Book!
