Everyone's situation is different and unique. No one knows how a certain person would or would not react. It's completely subjective. Even if (it wasn't), but even if Maggie's reaction was completely unrealistic last time I checked it was called FICTION. Yes you can have fiction based on real life, but the beautiful thing about fiction and more importantly about writing fiction, is that you can make the characters whatever you want them to be. Believable or not; have them break the mold. Keep doing what you're doing Sherry. It is your story; tell it how you want to tell it. I LOVED Unlovable and it was the characters (their "reactions" included) that made me love it :-)
Yes, very nice usage of alliteration. Ohhhh...you meant the words to the song ;-) Lol. Nice choice!!!
Yea, not too bad for a big boobed blonde bimbo ;-) I just added your song; it automatically added to your blog too so you're good to go :-)
Just trying to make the world a better place one playlist at a time ;-) No seriously, my pleasure. Glad you enjoy it!!!
Just added it Sherry :-) And if yall think of anymore, they can easily be added without having to change the link! And as always...post away!!!
Tamara wrote: "OK,iam no Mollie but,i really like For You I Will by Teddy Geiger .Iam thinking for the earlier part in the book when he's trying to work up the nerve to talk to Maggie"LOL Tamara!!!! I actually have that song on my playlist and completely missed it. So glad you thought of it; it's a perfect Seth song!!!

I can so hear it playing when she's reading the letters from her mom, or when she comes home from the funeral and is looking around her moms room; everything finally comes to a head and she smashes the bottle against the wall. It could even play when she's walking alone at night in the park. Anywhere you put it, it's definitely a song about Maggie and her mom's relationship :-) And as far as the other one...well I hate to say that I am a huge NON-country fan, lol and eventhough its one of those that could be a crossover, just wasnt for me ;-)
A song for those lighter scenes between Maggie and Seth...maybe the one where they're out shopping together, or when they're out driving Booker's grandpa's car, or even when Maggie is playing bball with Cole.Maroon 5-She will be loved

Jessica wrote: "OOOh I just found a perfect song for Seth to Maggie. It's called Fix You by Coldplay."I love that song!
Here is the first kiss song (the real first kiss). Chpt 17 Just as Seth says, "Come on, Maggie, admit it."http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnHEQd...
This song for either of the funeral scenes or when Maggie is comforting Seth after Booker's grandfather dies...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRaHqs...
Here is Maggie's theme song (Just happens to be another lifehouse song, but the lyrics are perfect). This song IS Maggie. If we're talking a specific scene then maybe when Maggie is running in the wet snow to Seth's house that first time after her mom tells her to get out or perhaps after the funeral when she's in her mom's bedroom before breaking the bottle. Or we can just call it Maggie's song ;-)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6cdPe...
Let me set the stage...Dwayne, Maggie, Seth, and Booker are talking in the parking lot. Maggie and Seth can barely make eye contact. Maggie is saved by the bell and just as she says "I have to go", the song starts playing very softly in the background. The moment after Dwayne yells after Maggie, "How did you get those bruises?", Seth is at her side. The song slightly increases in volume building the moment as Maggie and Seth stare into each others eyes. Maggie grabs Seth and as soon as their lips meet the song begins to play at full volume (minute marker 3:56). It's a long song, but using just part of it in this scene would be perfect :-)

I'm pretty sure I'll be taking over this discussion ;-) Random music is my life (next to books of course) Here is my first contribution. I can sooooo see Seth and Maggie dancing to this :-)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GubiCu...
Cole falls for an insanely beautiful girl that always tries to be tough. She puts on the front of not caring; not showing much emotion, but on the inside she does care, she does feel. She can't show this to others because growing up she was taught that showing emotion such as compassion and kindness were signs of weakness. She has spent her entire life trying to prove that she is strong. This also serves as a defense mechanism to keep others from getting too close. She will meet Cole and try to make it clear that she does not like him at all (which of course she does; defense mechanism). Lucky for her, Cole sees right through her tough girl act. He sees what lies below the service; he sees her heart. He will tear down the wall she has spent so many years building bringing out all the love, kindness, and compassion that has always been there lying just below the surface.

That's so crazy that you guys are friends because when I initially reviewed Unlovable I almost called it a cross between Cross My Heart by Katie Klein and Heart on a Chain. Are yall friends with her too. I'd like to imagine a little world where all of my favorite authors are BFF's who get together for book clubs, mimosas, and rock band.
Anyway...I loved Heart on a Chain Its in my pile of books to review; so I should have it up soon :-)
Jane Lynch is way too funny to take seriously; too many hilarious Sue moments branded in the brain! And lets not forget the potential of unknown actors; there could be a Seth somewhere out there just waiting to be discovered! When this DOES get made into a movie, I really think you need to make sure your contract says something about you being able to appoint a creative director (me of course). Making sure they cast properly and make sure the integrity of the book is protected. Now, I don't really have much, ok...no movie experience, but I too am just waiting to be discovered ;-)
