You could do it through GR, if you wanted (and if they were a GR member). Either create a "group" that is just for you and that person or message them. Not much better than Google docs though so not sure what the benefit would be. Depends on how much back and forth you are anticipating, I guess :) Good luck!
Guess it's about that time, Lydia & Vladimir :) I'm trying to decide which one is my favorite. I think it's the first one but I'm a bit torn. The third has the juicy sex, so I'm probably more excited to reread that one ;) Can't wait for Clark's story (and I'm excited to see what our main guys are up to). Hope you are feeling better Diane!
From Our December, I think one of my favorites is the scene with Alex's father and Jared. It's when Jared realizes the significance of Alex's first tattoo. It has such an impact even though the scene doesn't have Alex & Jared together. In A Place to Run, the second tattoo is mentioned (though you don't tell us when he got the tattoo until "Stronger"). . . my favorite line is at the end of the "flashback" -
"I love it when you growl at me." ... Jared "I don't growl.". . . Alex "Yeah, okay, is there going to be kissing now? Usually when you don't growl at me there is kissing."
Of the three stories, I think you really make the two men into an equal/balanced pair in "Stronger in Your Hands". You do this (as I see it) through giving Jared some issues. In my opinion, he needed a few issues, as his perfection makes it hard to see how Alex is contributing to the relationship. My favorite part of "Stronger" is the conversation between Jared's mom and Alex. . .you come up with the best lines, Diane!
"his love for me was like breathing. Something he did without even thinking about it." "And he didn't say it because no one walks around saying 'hey my heart's beating' or 'wow I'm really breathing today!."
Can't wait for the next one :)
Diane, Question is . . . how many of these "making of a man" books do you think you'll be writing? Is the end in sight? Did I miss your master plan somewhere else (I haven't searched this entire board yet, so it's a possibility!). I'm loving the fact that the angst in each of these is moderate and not due to "stupidity" or major character flaws. Thanks for a great escape into a lovely romance.Stacy -
PS Where should I put this question? Argh!
