"Hi Everyone, my name is Lyn and I am a truly avid reader; have been since I was in my teens, although I have only started actually keeping track since joining Goodreads and have to keep challenging my memory to list books that I have read in the past. Pat Conroy, Tolkein, James Clavell, Sara Gruen, Patrick Rothfuss, James Michener......so many great authors across many genres; I enjoy them all. I recently read Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and was just blown away. Books like Edgar Sawtelle and Pillars of the Earth have left me closing the cover at the end with a true ache in my heart that I will be lucky enough to find another like them - they are a gift. So here I am; always looking for the books of exception and not wanting to be disappointed by those who unfortunately just don't meet the mark. So many books, so little time..." I look forward to listening and learning. Cheers
