My latest book will be released tomorrow! The striking and simple cover,by Calliope Designs, is a perfect symbol for this book. The feather is in reference to an Emily Dickinson poem that begins "hope is that thing with feathers". This is a story of hope, love, reconciling the past and homecoming. I hope you'll add it to your list.

Hi everyone!
Just a quick note to let you know that my first three comedies are now available in a single e-book.
Live Laugh Love is a collection of my quirky rom coms and includes Searching for Superman, The P-Town Queen, and Afterglow.
AND--for a limited time only (yeah, I know, I sound like I should be on QVC) you can get all three at a ridiculously low price at Amazon!
It's called a countdown, and the faster you act the lower the price--
Here's the pricing schedule
August 7 —1.99
August 8-9 –2.99
August 10--3.99
August 11 4.99
August 12,13 —5.99
August 14 —9.99
As they say on TV, this is a limited time offer. Buy now and we'll throw in a complete set of steak knives. Okay, no steak knives, but a whole lotta funny reading.

Confessions of the Sausage Queen is now available as an e-book. It's my wildest comedy to date and I hope you'll give it a read.

I invite you to come check out the Flash! page on my website. I had, originally, wanted to post a new short short fiction piece every month or so. I found this was a bit ambitious--so I'm aiming for once a quarter. Anyway, the story for spring is up--
You can check it out here

It's here!
Check out the GoodReads page for availability.

If your interested in a sneak peak--I have one posted on my website. You can see it here--

The latest installment of the Anton and Lenora series,
is up on Goodreads. It's a novella, like the others. Set in San Francisco in 1852. Though it's not available just yet, it will be out in e-book on April 7.

Thanks Elisabeth. :)

Thanks Tracy!

Thank you, Barb. I'm still pretty excited!

I used to teach a first draft writing workshop in which I used prompts to jump start writing. From time to time, I'll share some of them here. If you'd like, you can post your responses.
This is a simple prompt I would use from time to time--
Finish the sentence: In this picture, you ---

Do you have a bit of writing news or advice? Feel free to post it here!

I'm stoked, chuffed, and light as marshmallow fluff! . Each year, InDtale magazine gives out RONE awards for best work that's Indie-pubbed or pubbed by a small publisher. They just announced the nominees and I've been nominated not once, but twice!
Afterglowwas nominated for best contemporary and
To the Wind was nominated for best historical novella.
The next part of the process is reader votes (with different categories each week) I'll be back to bug you when the books come up!

My newest release, Dancing in the the White Room, is set in ski country and all of the main characters are professional skiers. Though ski-themed, it's a love story at heart. I wrote it because I've been a skier for most of my life--skiing was a big part of my world when I was growing up. It was fun to revisit that world and to hang out with the characters in the book.
It's currently available as an e-book, and I'll keep you posted when it goes to print.
