yessss 😭 karen is the reason i even saw moulin rouge. i don’t like the musical tbh haha, but once i knew she was going to be in the cast, i knew i had to see it for her. i was shocked when she came out because stagedoor isn’t something she would do often. but she was so sweet and nice, she signed my playbill and took a picture with me 😭😭

Karen Olivio 😭😭😭 she’s my favorite! Robyn also, and i don’t remember who else to be honest ha, i’d have to look back at my playbill to see who signed. This was back in 2020, which feels like foreverrrrr ago.

i’ve met some of the cast from mean girls broadway, moulin rouge, king kong, tina and six through stage door.

From Hadestown, just those two! back when stagedoor-ing was allowed, they were the only two principle cast members to come out and sign playbills, take pics, etc. But I did meet some of the other ensemble members at stagedoor, but I can’t remember who, I was pretty star stuck with those two hahaha.

Elphie for sure, I’ve loved the character since the first time I saw it. My favorite song is Thank Goodness, I just love the vocal range and harmonies in that song! Every Glinda that I’ve seen has absolutely killed that song so perfectly 😍

hahaha shake shack is a burger fast food spot in the us, it’s a chain, so it’s in a lot of cities.

he was super nice and awkward, but in a good way ha. he was also on facetime with Eva! they’re both really chill and nice - they had both signed my playbill at the stage door.

I’m seeing Wicked on broadway next month 😭 I’m so excited. I’ve seen the tour 3 times haha, but I’ve heard seeing the show on Broadway is an EXPERIENCE

hadestown is legit one of the best musicals, in my opinion. I’ve see it twice on Broadway, it’s my favorite! After the first time I saw it in 2020 (before the world shut down), I met Reeve Carney afterwards at Shake Shack hahaha.

yesssss, ITH was 🤌🏼 and WSS is so good, i love that it’s getting the recognition it is in award season.

i’ve noticed fans who have seen the show/already knew the synopsis liked it. i mean yeah, ben platt looks hella old, but he gave 10000% to the role, it’s obvious he played evan with his whole heart. music was superb as usual, even though i missed a few songs they cut.

what do you guys think of all the movie musicals that came out last year? i think 2021 was the year for us 😅 tick tick boom has my heart and im not gonna lie, i did love the dear evan hansen movie 🤷🏻‍♀️

I watched CATS years ago! I remember loving it and just thinking it was the weirdest and coolest thing ever ha. Was anyone brave enough to watch the live action version? I lasted like 10 mins, still haven’t finished it.

Hadestown is the BEST! Have you read the book Anais Mitchell wrote about her process creating it? I have it, but yet to read it.

joshua: in the heights, oklahoma, hamilton (chicago) and most recently waitress!
jessica: becoming nancy, wicked
erich: jersey boys (stage and movie!), waitress
shoshana: wicked and will be in mr saturday night this spring!
norm lewis: too many to count! ha, but i just saw him in chicken and biscuits in october
jeremy: just ended his run in little shop of horrors!
