54797 I've never met a Canadian who'd read it in high school.

54797 Alex - I only read the intro first when the book is one that can't be spoiled because I already basically know the story without having read it. I must admit, it's surprising me a bit with how unfamiliar I am with the story so far, actually.

54797 I keep falling asleep reading Frankenstein - more because of the being ill than it's boring - so I haven't even made it out of the introduction yet.

54797 I read The Brothers K at 16. There's going to need to be a reread. I haven't started Moby-Dick yet - I can't decide if I should just switch to it, since I only read the intro to Frankenstein on Saturday and then spent the entire weekend being fed food and watching TV in bed (yay for recuperating, I guess!)

Random. I have no idea how it got that title, considering the synopsis.
