I do think he is wrong for stealing bread to feed his starving family because he will be committing a crime by stealing bread. If he commits the crime he could suffer consequences and go to jail beacause he did not pay any money for it and then his family would definitely starve and probably end up dying. Instead of committing the crime he can do the ethical thing by going to these places such as a church, clinics or hospitals where a social worker can guide him to get free food. If that man really wanted that piece of bread he could also have begged people for money on the trains and streets and hopefully some people would have empathy and give him some money to buy some bread so the man will be able to go home and feed his family.
I think that my character Darry, in the book ( Outsiders ) by S.E. Hinton is a loyal person to the gang because he watches out for the gang. He does what his gang the "Greasers" do such as put grease in their hair, steal from stores and get into fights with the Socs if they try to start a fight. For example when the Socs were going to cut Ponyboys hair Darry was going to beat the Socs up really bad because they were messing with his brother and one of the gang members. This proves that no one should mess with Ponyboy or else Darry is going to beat them up really bad. Another example would be because Darry wanted to get back at the Socs as any other greaser would since their friend Johnny had been hurt and is in critical condition. He would not have been in the church if the Socs had not been bullying Ponyboy which caused Johnny to kill Bob (one of the Socs). So Johnny had to hide in the church with Ponyboy from the cops. Then the fire had started and he had to go into the church to save Ponyboy which had caused a lot of damaged to Johnny's body. If the Socs had left Johnny and Ponyboy alone then they would not have to be near the burning church. This proves that Darry is fighting since Johnny has been in critical condition because of the Socs.
The piece I chose to compare the Outsiders is to Pygmalion test prep story. I fell that Eliza and Johnny both have similar backgrounds which they both share together in their stories. For example: Eliza is like Johnny because they wanted to turn their lives around to become a better person.
Eliza is a young woman who was a poor flower seller that was a lowlife, who does not speak with proper grammar, and has poor manners. As Mr. Higgins says to Mrs. Pierce, "What's to become of her if I leave her in the gutter?" Mr. Higgins is telling Mrs. Pierce how he wants to try and experiment on this poor young girl and change her by dressing her well, teaching her manners, and teaching her to speak with proper grammar. He is giving her the opportunity to become somebody or she can always go back to the way she was. It is really all up to her to make that decision.
Johnny is a kid who joined the gang called,"the greasers". He grew up with a father who is an alcoholic and his father was never around. He wanted to be a part of something so he joined the gang that made him feel like he belongs to somewhere. What had also made him feel more a part of something was him saving some kids from the church fire and was brave enough to go inside the burning fire.
Cicero once said, "We were born to unite with our fellow men, and to join in community with the human race." Well I would agree with this statement because most people have husbands and wives. Then they would have kids and their own kids would have another family. So that means that same cycle is going to be happening for a while. It’s like a family tree where it just keeps on happening and happening so this is why I agree with the statement. Well there are many communities who have problems and issues like in the show and book called PYSCH where there is a man named Shawn who is all alone and he wants to reunite with his best friend Gus. The problem though is Gus is the president of Benson Pharmaceutical so Gus does not want to go back into the PYSCH business. At the end though Gus does come back to the PYSCH business because of a crime that Shawn has solved dealing with the Benson Pharmaceutical. You are going to need to read the book to find out what happened in the Pharmaceutical business.
1.) Genre: Article2.) Purpose: To say that bugs are always in our food.
3.) CI: Is bugs should be eaten for every meal.
4.) Supporting Idea #1: Bugs can be very important to our diet.
a.) Most of these bugs give us protein which is a nutrient made up of essential and nonessential amino acids, for good health.
b.) Your muscles, organs and many of your hormones are made up of protein, and it is also used in the manufacture of hemoglobin, the red blood cells that carry oxygen to your body.
c.) Calium: Most people reach their maximum bone mass sometime between 18 and 25 years old and the denser your bones.
D.) Iron: A protein found in red blood cells responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body. Iron also regulates cell growth.
Supporting Idea #2 :People eat bugs in different parts of the world.
a.) I am guessing since the Mexicans eat the taco ants alo in their taco to make it flavorful.
b.) Some of our ancestors could have eaten when they were poor or they had liked it.
c.) Even today we eat bugs in our cereal. Eating bugs is now part of the challenge of participating in reality TV shows like Survivor and Fear Factor. If you own red lipstick or have ever snacked on red candy, chances are that you've ingested cochineal, an insect native to South America that is used to produce red dye. Bugs are also becoming prevalent in sweets. Many candy shops like Hotlix in Pismo Beach, California are famous for selling chocolate-covered ants and cricket lollipops. Also In the New York hall of science has these scorpions in the lolipops.
Supporting Idea #3 : You do not have to eat bugs from those pest but you might have a taste of them
a.) THESE ARE SOME OF THE BUGS THAT ARE CLASSIFIED AS BUGS OF THE SEA : Crabs and crayfish also know as crustaceans
b.) We humans take honey from bees but we have a little taste of these creatures because they step in the honey.

cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/20/wor... In this article Kim Jong-il is the leader of North korea and he is dead. Kim Jong-il died on Saturday of a heart attack caused by overwork and stress at the age of 69, state media said. He will be buried on 28 December of 2011. What the people there are worried about is the son who takes over the spot will not be such a good leader because he is a bit dumb. The article had said he did not even know what he looked like until last year and he is the age of 20. I mean I think the article provided fair information because it kind of seems like the people in that part of North Korea do not want him leader because of the cirumstances that they can have. I do think they are bias in a way because there trying to have the reader think the son unreliable and cannot help himself but also at the same time it is kind of true since people want to vote him out of being leader.
I think Arnold told Rowdy that he is going to be dead because he does not want Rowdy to die since the reseveration is very poor. Everyone on the reservation has already given up and accepted that they are probably not going to anything worth telling their kids. Arnold thinks that he still has a chance to have a good life since he got hope from Mr.P his teacher that got hit in the face with a book that Arnold accidentally threw at him. It seems that little talk that they both had really worked. Since Rowdy is Arnolds best freind he wants Rowdy to not get hurt. Rowdy does not go with him because he thinks that the kids that are at Reradean are to bossy. I think Rowdy is one of the kids who have given up to become someone. Also his father might not let him go since they are poor.
My mom likes animals and it is very important to her because it is like a friend and a family to her that you can play and snuggle with. You can also sleep with them and pet them to make them feel at home. My Mom thinks that pets makes her go back in time of her childhood...reminds her of everything back then. It's like a friend to her, she sometimes tell them her secrets and giggle with them when no one's around to hear what she has to say or what she feels on the insdie. They're like her little dairy. They also keeps her company when she has no one to be with.
