       I read this book a few years ago and I do remember liking it quite a bit. I will dig out my copy...somewhere in my house... and reread for discussion.

 , also very good. I read a hundred pages just last night. Problem, I got the book out of the library and it smells of someones bad perfume or the deodorizer for a public bathroom. I really like the book but can not take this smell. It is a good attestation as to how good the book is that I kept reading.

      Hi Lindsey,Thank you for inviting me to your new book club. My favourite books also go back and forth between time periods. Kate Morton and Kate Mosse both have excellent books. I finished The Distant Hours at the beginning of the month, if you have not yet read it I highly recommend it.
