It's definitely a slow burn. I'm still enjoying it, especially because it started to feel like things are happening, but that only happened about a third of the way into the book.

Hello, also from Virginia. I kept meaning to sign up for Goodreads while people were reading Empire of Imagination (I tried and I'm happy to learn that having to slog through it was not just my imagination). I've been enjoying the podcast.
