The Bruce’s comments from the 2011/2012 AP Lit Group group.

This is a suggestion for your first book.

We will soon begin outside reading. I am recommending these books first because we will or have read literature reviews on them. They are all part of what Gioia is calling the "New Canon". They are a part of what is happening in the world today and if you don't want to be left behind you need to start reading them on your own ASAP.
