I finished Deadman's Bluff by James Swain. This series is so much fun to read and the characters are a hoot. I'm now back to reading Vince Flynn and currently reading Extreme Measures
I finished Taken by Robert Crais. It's another great story. Jon Stone stole the show in this book. I'm currently reading Memorial Day by Vince Flynn
I finished The Forgotten Man by Robert Crais and Mr. Lucky by James Swain. I really enjoyed both books and would give each 4 stars.
I finished The Racketeer by John Grisham. Another great read though I didn't like it as much as The Litigators or The Confession
I finished Transfer of Power by Vince Flynn. A another great read by Vince Flynn. I really love this series. I love the great buildup suspense in the beginning and love the cat and mouse game between the CIA and terrorists. 4 1/2 out of 5
I wrapped up Indigo Slam by Robert Crais. I'm now reading Suspect by Michael Robotham. Really slow book.
I finished Loaded Dice by James Swain. I'll give it three stars. I'm currently reading Indigo Slam by Robert Crais
I finished A Wanted Man by Lee Child. It didn't have enough Jack Reacher beating up baddies but still a good read nonetheless. The motel clerk scene had me rolling. I'm now reading Vince Flynn's American Assassin
Beth wrote: "I'm reading Show Dog and also just started The Hobbit."Love The Hobbit. I can't wait to see the movie. I might have to re-read again sometime soon.
I just finished The Wheelmanby Duane Swierczynski. It's fast pace and easy read though no character development. It was okay. Watching The Hunger Game movie tonight and tomorrow I'll pick up Lee Child's new one A Wanted Man.
I just finished
. Very interesting take on Lincoln. I know it's not real but it's fun. I'm now reading

Probably not. I got a gut feeling Hollywood will screw it up.
I just finishedMidnight Rambler byJames Swain . All I can say is wow! I read another book out of order and it was great so I started this one which is the first in the series and love it. Jack Carpenter reminds me a lot of Harry Bosch the way he's does what it takes to bring justice to baddies. Not quite Jack Reacher level but it does make you root for Jack Carpenter. I'm picking up the second book in the series today.
Libby wrote: "In the middle of THE AFFAIR by Lee Child. He never disappoints -- he makes it look easy."I finished that a few days ago. Another winner from Child.
Nancy wrote: "Tay said, "I tried reading Beat the Reaper but he dropped so many f bombs it wasn't adding anything to the story so I gave up after the first chapter."I listenend to this and didn't caree for the..."
Absolute Powers and The Winner are the two I really like.
Nancy wrote: "Although this is not reading necessarily, I did finish an audio book last night Beat the Reaper by Josh Brazell, a very quirky read which went downhill. This morning I began listening to Split Sec..."I tried reading Beat the Reaper but he dropped so many f bombs it wasn't adding anything to the story so I gave up after the first chapter.
I've read most of Baldacci's books and they are very good. I think you'll like him.
