And, man, are you in particular going to be surprised by book three.
Splitter

Quick note: I basically moved this group over to my blog where I could be myself. More importantly, Tom can be himself! Well, I do limit him a little...
I still plan to have the third book out in June of 2012. It is difficult right now because of the blog tour, but I am progressing on it and my editor will get the first 10K words I am ready to release to her this week.
THANK YOU ALL!

To everyone else, Eileen is a new Crayder Chronicles reader and since she has already done reviews for both books, you can be friends with her now without worrying about appearing to try to influence her. Ok, that mainly just applies to me, I guess :).
So welcome, Eileen! No one bites here except maybe for Lorena but she has not shown up yet...

(PS...I think Sarah and I dated at some point...please tell me that your real life name is not Julia!)

Of course, if the books just never sell, it will end sooner than later lol. If people buy the books, I could see ten books or more. I also have plans for other stories within Tom's world that don't center on Tom. That's why I want them all to be stand alone stories that advance the over-all story arc of the series.
No one wants to invest their reading time in a series where few questions get answered until the last chapter in book ten. No one wants to read "middle books" that are full of filler that only set up the later books. I think you have to give the reader a beginning, middle, and end for that book.
I also want to write a series of short non-fiction books about coaching baseball. I know, I know...that's a departure from the series, but I think I can help moms and dads help their kids enjoy the sport (softball too!).
Wow...that all sounded very presumptuous lol.

Much of it will occur in Vegas and I plan to use a bunch of "Vegas" style characters.
Remember, what happens in Vegas will get you twenty to life.

You're not wrong about grooming at all but we REALLY didn't need to know. I suggest Norelco products for you, sir.
Tom does bring up one of the interesting differences between the responses of men and women to The Reluctant .
When Tom noticed Lorena's, umm, personal choice, women often called it a "WTF?" moment in their emails to me. Men (and I have asked them) were like, "Yeah, of course he would" lol.
I had to ask my what the Bridgette Jones look was even though I have seen the movies (shuddup, Tom) and all I can say is, "BWAHAHA!"
Had to look up the French words...to answer, I'll just refer you back to Tom's sneezing comment...
:)

Yeah, my wife likes that look too. She only gets to see it on TV, but she likes it :).
Love handles work just a well, that's all I'm sayin'.
When were velvet leopard print PJ's in style?
Also, I see that I must add France to my list of countries in which I can never use the bathroom. If I don't know, or cannot accept, the bathroom rules then I can't go there.
Yes, Tom, I do think that a two bathroom policy is ESSENTIAL to a good marriage. I got tired of hearing, "Did you shave a cat in the bathtub?!" every time I took a shower.

So tell :)

C'mon, it'd be fun to watch him getting them caught on stuff and clinking along acting tough.

Nothing else, just chaps :)
Maybe next book.

"Step on the ball!"
I know, I know, that is open to interpretation. Knowing Lorena, she could be involved with that...

There was a Billy Joel called, "The Stranger" where the lyrics say that we all have a face that we hide away forever and we take them out and show ourselves when everyone has gone. Some are satin, some are steel, some are silk and some are leather. They're the faces of a stranger but we love to try them on.
That's how most people go through life when you think about it. We tend to put on the mask that is appropriate to the situation. We put on one mask for work, one for being a husband/wife, one for church, one for our friends, one for our foes, etc.. All of those masks are "us", just a different aspect.
In "The Crayder Chronicles" everyone is keeping secrets it seems. No one knows about Tom's second profession, not even his wife. Jake is either an auto shop owner or a motorcycle gang leader on any given day. Lorena changes identities like socks. Tuttle hasn't even been seen. And Jenny can't be the too-perfect wife she appears to be, can she?
Heck, there may even be bad guys who are living public lies.
I can't even tell you who all will be unmasked, though, because I haven't written the story yet.
I know....vague ;).

Keep Tom in line here on his advice group. You know how easily distracted he can be.
Thank you for your support!
