Underlying Notes
While I'm not in the market for a book cover, I took a look and can attest you've got an assortment of beautiful covers!
Jennifer,I read the synopsis and checked out your book at Amazon. May it spark reader interest and create a buzz.
I followed your thread all the way to Amazon and read the book's synopsis in its entirety and found it intriguing. I wish you well in gaining reader momentum of your newly released novel.
As a kindred writer, I must commend you on producing a work of 778 pages! It is a testament to your dedication and commitment. May many readers lose themselves in the dystopian future you created.
Helen, Sara, K.D., Sonya ...May your leap of faith have boundless possibilities.
Since I retired from teaching, I've focused on writing. Though, I devote much time and effort to putting my best foot forward, other than the intrinsic rewards from noble endeavors, it is by and large an incurred expense. I never expected to make a profit. My fervent wish has always been to get my books into the hands of readers, and I've got my eye on having the second novel, which is in production, made into an indie film.

Hi, MercedesI'd also welcome an interview closer to when my second novel will be ready for distribution. At this stage I'm waiting for the electronic proof. I look forward to sharing "my story" beyond the books, though I certainly welcome the opportunity to acquaint your readership with my book and participate in an author event if you think it's a good idea.
Underlying Notes
My light bulb moment occurred during my reading of Anne Lamott's 'Blue Shoe.' Always a voracious reader, that may have been one of the last books I read because I'm very serious about writing and marketing my work so it will be read. Her style of writing, introspection, and her creativity to extrapolate from the mundane inspired me. I knew I could write along those lines, and feel I have tapped into sensitivities in my first novel, 'Underlying Notes,' which I embarked upon after reading her book. I've taken the same liberties with my second novel, 'An Enlightening Quiche,' which is in production. Anne Lamott's influence has empowered me to create flawed, flesh-and-bone characters.
While I embrace my light bulb moment for unleashing my creativity, I lament not having the luxury to read actual books. Most of my reading pertains to research for enriching my work, and ways to reach potential readers.
Hi, everyone ...I'm Eva.Under my mother's tutelage, I became a proficient typist by the age of nine and soon pounded chapter stories replete with dialogue on my girly-pink Tom Thumb typewriter. In high school I composed my first novella earning its own reserve shelf in the school library.
The buck may have stopped there when I focused on a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher. I'm fond of bragging that third grade teachers don't scare easily!
When I retired, midlife restlessness prompted me to write my debut novel in the genre of Women's Fiction pivoting around the protagonist's fragrance addiction--similar to my own!
Approximately 8 yrs. later, in between writing memoirs, 60s flashbacks, essays pertaining to my native state of Rhode Island--and life's hairpin turns, I completed the manuscript for my second novel which is in production. Needless to say, I'll be ambitious in acquiring reviews when I get a better idea as to its distribution date.
Both of my novels tap into significant issues affecting the lives of women--in my case as a writer--those over 40. I also interweave geographic entities, historic references, and cultural idiosyncrasies in my work.
I look forward to connecting with writers and readers.
