The second installment in the Undead Chronicles.

A transvestite prostitute, Brian works the streets of Hollywood. When he isn't turning tricks, he spends his nights reveling in the city's dark decadence. He drifts like a ghost through a series of meaningless one night stands. Everything changes after he views a mysterious internet video of a vampire execution.

As Brian watches and re-watches the footage, he comes to an exciting realization. Not only is the footage real, but he recognizes the video's sole survivor. Brian takes to the Hollywood night, determined to find the surviving vampire, regardless of the consequences.

Live Undead

Razor gnashed his teeth against the cage.
The crashing waves of guitars and the squealing wash of keyboards weren’t what drove his frenzy as he thrashed against the mesh. He could smell them. The audience. The putrid stench of stale sweat and warm beer singed his nostrils. He climbed the fence, slathered his tongue over the steel, and caught sight of an irate biker as the man chucked his beer. The bottle exploded against the fence. Smiling, Razor bounded back down to the stage and raised his middle finger to the crowd.

Hey, everyone.
My name is Steve Warren. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I mainly focused on short stories until ten years ago when I decided to try my hand at screenplays. I wrote around a dozen scripts, one of which has been optioned for production, before returning to fiction. I recently self-published my first novel, LIVE UNDEAD, and am currently working on my second. As a reader, and a writer, I'm drawn to the horror genre. I look forward to being a member of your group!
