Patrick’s comments from the Bionicle group.

I started in about 3rd grade. I was having a birthday party and someone had gotten me a Kopaka set. I built him as soon as I could get him open. It was one of the best presents I've ever had. A little later the Matoran sets were at McDonalds as Happy Meal toys. One of my friends had also started with Bohrak and we would have fights from time to time.
They really set wonderful examples to me as role models. Always staying together and having a good purpose.
While I do admit they were running out of stories towards they end. I think they should have kept going. To me they aren't just pieces of plastic. They're friends that I have spent so much time with and will never replace.
