I think you guys should check out the Inkheart series. For those who don't know, it's about a man who has the ability to read characters out of the books. The trade-off is that when a person comes out of a book, someone from his world goes in. I think it's an awesome concept because I've always wanted to be able to go into the books I read, so I can relate. The series gets better with each book, the third (Inkdeath) being my favorite. They're all good, check them out.
