I am quick to pick up any book on a recommendation, but just as quick to drop it if it isn't scratching the itch.I've read several books by Nabokov, Rushdie, Adams, Dick, Gibson, Weis and Hickman, but if you quizzed me on their works I might fail.
Really enjoying The Scar by China Miéville. Looking forward to reading more Hugh Howey. Just purchased The Walk Up Nameless Ridge.
Spire was an addiction of mine for years. It started as a short story, and over time, it developed into something much broader and honestly, more interesting. There is a lot left unspoken in the first book, and the second promises to answer some questions, and spark new ones.It was a pleasure writing Spire and I'm interested to know what you think about the book.
Thank you.
I really don't know, what you want to know:-). Ask me anything. I'm not sure you'll enjoy the answers, but I'll be honest and try to answer everything.Thank you for you interest!
Welcome! This is a good place to introduce yourself and generate a topic for a new thread. My name is Aaron Safronoff, proud author of Spire. I've actually written two books, but the first, Evening Breezes, has not yet been published. Also, that first book was a bit of an exploration and is probably a little too cumbersome to read without a significant edit pass. We'll see:).
I'm 34, I'm working on book 2--and several short stories--, and I'm excited to meet the readers.
