I read the classics mainly to for the story. I love to go back to that particular period and get a sense of the time. If the books have a message that is a bonus in my mind. I also love the language eventhough sometimes I may get stuck trying to figure out the meaning of what they are saying.

Hello everyone my name is Melinda and I am a newbie. I love to read, my late grandma was a remedial reading teacher and had a mini library in her apartment. So I guess I was born to read. I hated the classics growing up until I got to High School and learned to love them. I hope to read some classics that I love as well as find some that I have yet to read.
