Dickens probably but Thomas Hardy is a close tie.

Simon Vance or George Guidall

596 I am pretty sure you have to be using credits but without looking it up I guess I could be wrong about that.

596 I have listened to many of his novels and IMO the BEST ones that you really shouldn't miss are IT and Hearts in Atlantis. They were both outstanding!

I couldn't resist going and looking that one up. Very nice from the sample. I don't guess I really need two versions of the same book though do I? :-)

I have also started reading and listening to Black House. This is my second time reading this. I read it the first time soon after it's release. It is the current month's read in the Stephen King Fans group.

596 FINALLY an awesome selection for this sale. I went on quite a shopping spree today! Thanks Audible!

596 I am with you Kristie. I am not even remotely interested in the Romance genre but I suppose there must be plenty who are since there are tons of them. :-)

Waiting patiently for Fiction/LiteraryFiction/Classics sale. In the meantime I have plenty in my library.

596 I listened to The Painted Veil, the one narrated by Kate Reading. I love this story and really enjoyed this narration of it. It was my second time reading it but first time in audiobook format. It was excellent!

I am also reading through the complete Sherlock Holmes so I will be getting back to that.

I felt the same way about the BOGO this time. Nothing sparked my interest and not a single item from my wish list was on there even. There is usually at least one or two. I am passing on it.

Thanks for the great comments,. I am looking forward to listening to it on my trip home from Chicago on Monday.

I finished Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore today on my drive to Chicago and I absolutely loved it! Very different in a good way and loved the narrator.

Do you suppose if I did that and spent them before tomorrow I would receive the $10? Also do pre-orders qualify? I have the new Neil Gaiman book The Ocean at the End of the Lane in my wishlist. Hmm..

596 I started Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore because of a group read in a group I recently joined here. This is what I love about Goodreads and being a part of a few groups; I give books a try that I like a lot but may not have other wise come across.

I am less than 20% into it. I was listening while grocery shopping this morning and more than a few times found my self snickering out loud. I bet I got a few strange looks, LOL!
