I am so far behind in reading for this year. I really need to step up the pace. I'm going to go check my categories now to see if it is possible to complete any of my goals. I hope the rest of you are doing well.

Thanks for the response. I have tried the "view books" and it is hit or miss as to whether it corrects or not. Good luck to all in your reading goals!

Almeta, so far the most I have been able to read of the home alone books in a year is 22. This will be a stretch, but I really want to read and pass along some books.

I do have a question. Sometimes when I go back to check on my challenges, the book number is less than the actual number read. Occasionally it will adjust after I open the challenge but frequently is doesn't. Is there something else that I should do? Thanks.

Of the 13 challenges I had for 2018, I have completed 8 of them. None of the other 5 challenges can be completed in the 3 days left! This has not been my best year for reading. I'm sure next year will be better.

I think that is part of the reason for me too, plus all the new books that sound SO interesting. Then I put a bunch of them on hold at the library and it seems as if they all come in at the same time. The other day I had 6 that had arrived from other library branches.

Added a few new categories for 2018. Really need to concentrate on the Home Alone books.

I've completed 3 of my 11 challenges. I am ahead on 4 more, behind on 3, and on track on one. Home Alone, Hot Off the Press and Now That Was Classic are the ones in which I am behind. I am reading too many library books and still neglecting the ones I have at home. This is a great wake-up call that we are on the downhill side of this year!

I have just joined this group and I will wait until the 2017 challenges begin to participate. I have already started to plan the books I want to read for next year. There are a few challenges that will work well for my planning!
