I think I actually mentioned this on one of the Childhood Trauma posts in the dim dark past (possibly during Shark Week??). My brother and I used to read the crap out of the Willard Price books (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adve...) They were FREAKING INSANE. And there was a WORLD of parental neglect in them. Although they were so freaking bonkers that I wouldn't wish reading them upon anyone.

Part of me wants to reread The Twins at St Clare's series. From memory, it's like Sweet Valley only really really lame... And with no boys. Shame, really.
