Hey friends! After discussing what has worked for this link-up and what could improve, we've decided to make some changes to Segue Magic.
I've made a video with all of the details here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
HIGHLIGHTS:
- We're going to have monthly themes that Kirsti and I will be discussing on the Snark Squad channel.
- Each month will also have a related topic, which will be the official link-up portion of Segue Magic. You can answer that topic any time you want during the month. Share the link below.
- Kirsti and I will also answer the topic question (if we can) on our personal channels.
- If there is every anything Kirsti and I are talking about during the month that you want to jump in on, PLEASE DO SO! Any videos you make under the theme can be shared below, even though there is just the one official topic.
DECEMBER THEME: Christmas! (or holidays in general)
DECEMBER TOPIC: Favorite Christmas movies
Let me know if you have any questions! Can't wait to hear about your faves.

We'll have the November topics posted in the next week or so.
Hopefully, you will all enjoy the vlogs we have planned as part of #31DaysofTwilight!
See you in November!

We decided not to change the topic, but we did move it to the same week T5W is doing it. So, you can either double up on the topic, or do it Wednesday or Saturday, or do you favorites with T5W and least favorites with us, or pick one or the other. We figured that would be the easiest way to do it! :)

So how about pop culture chicken soup?"I love, love, love this. We're using it for June. And it's timely because I feel like poo and could use all of the pop-culture chicken soup. THANK YOU <3

Earliest fandoms is this week's topic and I'm using cringeworthy moments for June! THANK YOU <3
Williesun wrote: "How about your favourite 90s/early 2000s songs that are terrible and you still cannot not sing and/or dance along when you hear them."DO WE ALL GET TO DO SING ALONGS IN THE VIDEOS?? :)

Excellent! We had the moms and dads things already proposed, because you know. Has to be done.
We're using things that don't stand the test of time in May! :)
We've come up with our own tag based on the actual tags we use most frequently on our website. The Snark Ladies will answer these questions throughout the week and then we are in essence tagging YOU. Once you answer the questions, feel free to tag your friends and keep it going! Here are the tags and associated questions:
1. “Contrivance brings people together” – Name a work that relied too heavily on contrivance for your taste.
2. “Taking the parent out of parenting” – Name your least favorite fictional parents.
3. “Sandy Cohen Eyebrow Scale of Non-Negligent Parenting” – Favorite fictional parents
4. “Detecting the shit out of things” – Name your favorite fictional detective or favorite story that features investigation.
5. “1430 on my SAT” – Name your favorite intelligent character.
6. “I hate this fictional character so hard” – A fictional character you hate. Hard.
7. “Dazzling you with my brooding” – Favorite emotional or broody character.
8. “Beware: actual trauma ahead” – Work that legitimately traumatized you as a child (or child at heart.)
9. “Team Feels” – Fictional work that gives you all of the feels
10. “Team Heartless Cow” – Fictional work that gives you none of the feels, especially if it made other people very emotional.
That's it! :)
