In the past few weeks I have been reading a lot of books where the narrator is different in some way like the character may have autism, have a facial deformity, or the character is gay.
What are some of the books that you have read that have characters that are different?

I like the pacing and the length of most YA lit books making longer books feel like quick reads.

Since I've started reading YA for this class I've fallen in love with reading again. I love talking to kids about books. One of my books I read for this week was a recommendation from one of my drama students... she's got good taste. I can't wait to talk about the book with her after spring break!
