I have to say it does influence me. I've read the classics like Tom Sawyer, Sherlock Holmes, and Old Yeller and modern ones by Stephen King, Tom Clancy, and John Grisham. Over the years I've taken something from each of them and added it to my style. Every little bit helps, or so I believe.
