I was aware of this and liked her earlier works. Especially the book on Nell. However, her work has seemed to decline. I will still give her other recent novels a chance (due to the topic) but I'm not in a hurry.

As much as I liked Haeger's earlier works, I just gave The Queen's Mistake 2 stars.

Yes, I have. I love Diane Haeger; although I am behind on her latest books.

There is absolutely no way I could pick just one!!! I seiously would have a really long list here (some books for the way they moved me, some for the topic, some simply on the way it was written, etc).

Hello, I'm Orsolya and a member of the other history groups on here. I live in LA, CA and obsessed with history (mostly Plantagenet, Tudor and Stuart England).

I prefer straight history but also read lots of histrocial fiction as long as it isn't too fluffy and more on the accurate side.
