Oh, yeah. I love 'pussy' too. Cock, cunt, prick, pussy, dick -- you know, the old standards, lol.
What about words for the act itself? I love 'fuck' but there are several other good ones, imo. What think?
Fangtasia wrote: "I'm more of a romance fan, but with a lot of hot, authentic, realistic sex. For example, I'm all for the MCs to have their first sex scene be all 'rawrrr, tear our clothes off, gotta have you NOW!'..."I love dirty talk. XD
And dirty talk is in and of itself kinky imo. In fact, I'm surprised by the amount of people who don't engage in talking dirty. If you're calling your partner 'a nasty little slut' I think you left vanilla behind and have moved on to more varied fare.
JT wrote: "I get inspired by different things. Sometimes a person, sometimes a theme. Maybe an adventure a friend had and told me about. Sometimes I just get a visual and work from there."That happens to me occasionally. Do you ever have to write due to a deadline, etc., and feel completely uninspired?
Fangtasia wrote: "So, tell me, have you always made a living writing? If not, what did you do before?"I have written professionally on and off throughout the years, but did not dedicate myself completely until a few years ago.
And to answer the other part of your question, I've done just about everything: civil servant, bartender, paralegal, seasonal carnie, product demonstrator for a kitty litter company, journalist, graphic designer, bathroom attendant at NASCAR, apprentice private detective, and more. What can I say? I like to mix it up, lol.
All good writing involves a lot of both. What motivates and inspires writers? What gets the words flowing?I find that sometimes I become inspired by an overheard snippet of conversation or a real life experience, but usually, and this may be because I write for a living and am accustomed to writing on demand, I find that the plot, characters, and dialogue come when I sit down to write.
I have conquered writer's block. It does not exist. If I do not feel motivated or inspired and am drawing a complete blank, I just write whatever comes to mind. Sooner or later it begins to take shape.
What do you look for in erotica stories and novels? What turns you on?I tend to enjoy realism -- at least in regards to the characters -- I don't mind if the theme or plot are fanciful or fantastic. But, and this applies to my interest in genres other than erotica, I do tend to prefer gritty realism over fantasy.
When it comes to the sex in erotic fiction I like authentic, no holds barred, graphic sex. I love the words cunt and cock. Descriptions of genitalia like 'mound' and 'love muscle' tend to pull me out of the story.
I also tend to prefer spicy sex -- not a big fan of vanilla. A little kink, lots of dirty talk...
